ABG supports the Laboratoire des Courses Hippiques (GIE LCH) in the recruitment of a Senior Scientist Research & Innovation in peptide/protein identification by mass spectrometry, under permanent contract. What is the core business of GIE LCH ? With around 50 years of experience, the GIE LCH in FRANCE, a non-profit organization, is at the forefront of analytical chemistry for doping control analyses of racing horses, to ensure fair competition and animal welfare for Horseracing Authorities and Equestrian Federations. Located at Verrières-le-Buisson (south of Paris), our Internationally recognized laboratory performs the analysis of approximatively 60 000 samples per year thanks to numerous and diverse analytical setups, mostly composed of mass spectrometers (HRMS/QQQ) coupled to chromatography (LC, GC, IC) and our staff is composed of 60 employees. Finally, the laboratory is a member of Sciences Animales Paris-Saclay (SAPS) with numerous national and international collaborations. The R&I team consists of about 10 people with state-of-the-art equipment in the field of analytical chemistry such as mass spectrometry and chromatography technologies. The team has access to the Goustranville Equine facilities (International Horse Campus) to evaluate the performances of the developed methods. Site web : https://www.fnch.fr/national/le-laboratoire-descourses-hippiques The laboratory is recruiting a Senior Scientist, who will work as a manager in the Research and Innovation (R&I) team, composed of the Director, technical managers, bio-informatician and technicians. Under the supervision of the R&I Director, the Senior Scientist manage human and technical resources of several projects to contribute to the doping control analyses : - Management : technician working on proteomics/peptides and students (Master, PhD) - Research fundings (IFCE, …) -Technologies : high throughput analyses, microLC, ionmobility applied to biological matrices (blood, urine, DBS) and non-biological matrices (straw...) - Contribute also actively to the scientific communication (publication of scientific articles, talks in international conferences etc.) - Examples of current and future projects : innovation project on TIMSToF, set up database of equine fluid antibodies … International travel could be required from time to time. --------------------------------------- A wide range of benefits are available (holiday/culture/restaurant vouchers, company savings plan..) as well as sharing convivial moments between colleagues.
